Job Description:

As the Tech Lead, you will be the technical powerhouse of our new product development pod. You’ll partner with a Product Lead to rapidly prototype, architect, and build MVPs using modern cloud-native technologies and AI-assisted development tools.

This role is hands-on: You’ll design and implement systems, set up scalable architectures, and actively code alongside your team

Responsibilities:

• Own the technical architecture and hands-on development of prototypes and MVPs.
• Work closely with the Product Lead to translate product requirements into technical designs.
• Build end-to-end solutions, with strong Java backend expertise and working knowledge of ReactJS (or similar front-end frameworks).
• Architect and deploy solutions on cloud-native platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codeium) for faster prototyping and code generation.
• Ensure strong engineering practices: code quality, version control, CI/CD pipelines, basic testing automation.
• Mentor junior engineers as the team scales.
• Balance speed of execution with scalable, maintainable designs.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on expertise in Java backend development.
• Experience designing cloud-native architectures (microservices, serverless, APIs, containerization).
• Ability to build quick prototypes while keeping scalability in mind.
• Familiarity with ReactJS or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for development acceleration.
• Ability to create technical documentation and design diagrams independently.
• Self-starter attitude with ownership mindset — comfortable working in lean, fast-paced environments.

Nice To Have:

• Exposure to multiple programming languages beyond Java (Python, Node.js, Go, etc.).
• DevOps/Infra skills (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions).
• Prior startup or 0→1 product experience.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud-native apps.
